Abstract:

With the development of coal mining industry, the deserted coalmine area has been expanded, meanwhile, the ecological environment has been ruined seriously, thus refining the sustainable development of coal-oriented cities. By analyzing the characteristics of landscape and ecology in deserted coalmine area and some typical cases home and abroad, this paper comes up with some redesigning strategies and methods from the perspectives of recovering ecological environment, redefining functions of land, and recovering landscape.
